WIA Approved Career Training / State of California's Eligible Training Provider
You may qualify for WIA grants to pay for career training
BIIT is an approved provider of WIA programs. The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is federal legislation which provides funding for individuals to retrain for a new occupation. WIA is the nation's principal workforce development act.
BIIT is a State of California’s Eligible Training Provider (ETPL). BIIT can provide training to Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) through WIA (Workforce Investment Act) Title I-B funds. WIA program may provide funding for vocational training through local career center to an individual who is unemployed or would like to enhance skills or otherwise meet federal low income guidelines, work in a declining industry or occupation, are part of a mass layoff, or qualify as a displaced homemaker, may qualify for WIA grant funding to pay for State approved programs.
